St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center
Neurology
The Neurology Department at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center offers patients a comprehensive, nationally recognized approach to the treatment of severe conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, and nerves, whether in the outpatient clinic, the emergency department, or in the hospital with twenty-four-hour neurology attending coverage available.
We collaborate with departments at our institution and beyond, including at our numerous outpatient clinics, to provide multidisciplinary evaluation and state-of-the art-treatment options.
The department has a history of education excellence in training medical, PA, and NP students, as well as residents in various departments. Our team is also engaged in local, national, and international research projects.
Our department has been certified as Advanced Primary Stroke Center by the Joint Commission and has received the American Heart Association’s GoldPlus Get With The Guidelines®-Stroke Quality Achievement Award for their commitment to ensuring stroke patients receive the best care.
