Lindsay M. Arnold, Pharm.D, MPH, FCCP, BCPS
Director of Pharmacy & Clinical Nutrition Services
Lindsay is the Director of Pharmacy & Clinical Nutrition Services at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. She completed her Pharmacy Practice Residency at the University of Nebraska Medical Center followed by a PGY2 residency in Adult Internal Medicine with an emphasis in Cardiology at Virginia Commonwealth University. Prior to this position, she served as a clinical specialist in internal medicine, cardiology and anticoagulation.
Her research and quality improvement interests include the impact of patient education on hospital readmission, specifically in heart failure and myocardial infarction, venous thromboembolism prevention and management and transitions of care. She serves a reviewer for Pharmacotherapy, Annals of Pharmacotherapy, Endocrine Practice and Cardiovascular Therapeutics. Currently Dr. Arnold serves as an active preceptor for the PGY1 and PGY2 administration rotations.

Clinical Pharmacy Specialist - Infectious Disease
Salwa received her Bachelor of Pharmacy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. Salwa is a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist with added Qualifications in Infectious Diseases (BCPS-AQ). She works at St. Elizabeth’s as a clinical pharmacy specialist in infectious diseases. Salwa offers PGY1 rotations in Antimicrobial Stewardship and Advanced Infectious Disease, as well as PGY2 rotations in Antimicrobial Stewardship, Infectious Disease Consult I-III, including HIV/Hepatitits and teaching. Her personal interests include traveling, reading, music, theatre, history, and web design.
Mirembe Reed, PharmD, BCPS, BCCP, BCCCP
Clinical Pharmacy Specialist – Cardiology
Mirembe graduated with her PharmD from Northeastern University in Boston and completed a PGY1 residency at Christiana Care Health System in Newark, DE and a PGY2 in medicine with emphasis in cardiology at West Virginia University Hospital. She works at St. Elizabeth’s as a clinical pharmacy specialist in cardiology and serves as a preceptor for the Cardiac ICU rotation. She loves to dance, make new connections and spend time with loved ones.
Adah K Lau, PharmD
Clinical Pharmacist
Adah received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences - Boston. She completed her Pharmacy Practice Residency at Tufts Medical Center (formerly Tufts-New England Medical Center) in Boston, Massachusetts. She is currently a clinical pharmacist at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center and serves as one of the preceptors for the Internal Medicine I & II rotation for the PGY1 program.
Kayla McFarland, PharmD, BCCCP
Clinical Pharmacy Specialist - SICU
Kayla attended the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy and received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2021. She completed her PGY1 and PGY2 Critical Care pharmacy residencies at ProMedica Toledo Hospital/ Russell J. Ebeid Children's Hospital in Toledo, Ohio, in 2023. Dr. McFarland serves as the pharmacy preceptor for the surgical intensive care unit. She enjoys reading and hiking with her two dogs in her free time.
Thao Pham, PharmD
Clinical Pharmacy Specialist – Critical Care
Thao received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Bouve College of Health Sciences in Boston, MA. She is currently a clinical pharmacy specialist in the medical ICU and serves as the preceptor for the medical ICU rotation. She has practice interests in emergency medicine and critical care. In her free time, she loves hiking with her friends (and dogs are a must!), eating her favorite foods, and reading.
Melissa Tu, PharmD, BCPS

Clinical Pharmacy Manager
Melissa received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy in Philadelphia, PA. She completed her PGY1 Residency at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Prior to this position, she served as a clinical specialist in internal medicine, with practice interests in nephrology and addiction medicine. Melissa enjoys reading and spending time with family.
Xinqi Yu, PharmD, BCPS
Clinical Pharmacist
Xinqi attended the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy and received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2022. She completed her PGY1 Residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburg, PA. She serves as one of the preceptors for the Internal Medicine I & II rotation for the PGY1 program. During her free time, Xinqi enjoys café hopping and playing the piano.
