Melody O’Keefe, MSN, RN, NEA-BC, CEN, was named Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer in July 2022. Melody leads all aspects of Good Samaritan Medical Center’s Division of Nursing with a focus on clinical excellence and advancing the professional practice of nursing.

Melody was previously the Associate Chief Nursing Officer (ACNO) at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Melody has also served as a Patient Care Director for Inpatient Post-Surgical and Telemetry care at Good Samaritan Medical Center and Patient Care Director of the Emergency Department at Morton Hospital. Prior to that, Melody served as Director of Nursing and Emergency Care at Carolinas Health Care System in Concord, North Carolina.

Melody earned her Diploma and Associates degree in Nursing from Louise Harkey School of Nursing in Concord, North Carolina. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Winston-Salem State University and a Master of Science in Nursing from The University of Phoenix.
